About Me

"I am dedicated in crafting meaningful interaction and communication between products and users."

I am born and raised in Hong Kong, and right now I reside in Dallas/DFW, TX. My interest and curiosity in uncovering human behavior are rooted in my academic years of applied linguistics. I indulged myself in studying how cultural and psychological factors affect the way we talk and write. It has led me to become an empathetic and critical thinker.

As a flight attendant in Asia, other than creating memorable and joyful experiences with customers worldwide, my strengths lay in being a proactive listener and good team player to solve problems in a stressful environment. I started learning user experience design and research as a self-taught.

I made a career transition to become a product designer and have worked at an e-learning company to design course scheduling products for parents and students. Recently I started working in the fin-tech realm.

Meeting people from within and outside of the field has brought me so many perspectives. As days go by, I love to accept more challenges and learn to grow as an interaction designer.

I love to travel. I particularly enjoy traveling on my own. Sometimes I do extensive research before I fly. Sometimes I just pack my bag and go. I might not be able to remember all of the attractions and monuments I have seen. But it is a huge achievement of mine to complete a trip safely and happily.
